JOINT DEGREE PROGRAM

JULY 2010 INTAKE

 

The academic committees of Skyway Institute of Management, Research and Development (SIMARD) and Pebble Hills University (PHU) in the United States of America invite applications from qualified persons to register for studies in the Bachelors Degree Programmes which will commence on 5th July 2010 (Full Time Classes Lilongwe campus only) and 10th July 2010 (Weekend Classes Lilongwe and Blantyre campuses).  Full boarding facilities are provided at Lilongwe campus only.

 

Programmes (4 Years)

  • Bachelor of Social Science in Rural and Community Development (B.S.Sc. with majors in Development Studies and Public Health
  • Bachelors of Arts in Human Resource Management (BA)

 

Entry Requirements 

  • Have Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE) / O” levels or  its equivalent with an aggregate  of not more than thirty six points (36) in the best six subjects including English, obtained in not more than two sittings.

 

Exemption

  • Candidates possessing an Advanced Diploma in Community Development, Public Health, Nutrition, HIV & AIDS Management, Diploma in Agriculture, Project Management and Human Resources from recognized institutions will be exempted and join in THIRD YEAR OF STUDY in both programs.

Application/Exemption Forms are available at SIMARD Campuses in Mzuzu, Lilongwe and Blantyre and can be downloaded from our website. www.skywayinstitute.com

Admissions

The Academic and Admission Council (AAC) will evaluate Application and Exemption Forms according to prescribed entry requirements. Names of successful candidates will be published on 26 June 2010.
